# FoodyOS — full text manifest for LLM crawlers > The all-in-one Restaurant Management System (RMS) for high-volume independent restaurants. POS, kitchen display, online ordering site, in-house delivery dispatch, hostess, loyalty, inventory — one platform, three regions (LATAM Spanish, USA English, Brazil Portuguese). Direct ordering, 0% per-order platform commission, no contract, no proprietary hardware. ## What FoodyOS is FoodyOS is a Restaurant Management System (RMS), not just a POS. The platform runs every operational surface of a modern independent restaurant on one login: AI-powered order intake on WhatsApp, a public ordering storefront on the restaurant's own URL, kitchen display (KDS), cashier / point-of-sale (POS), floor + table management, hostess + waitlist + reservations, in-house delivery dispatch with driver app, customer loyalty indexed by phone number, inventory tied to ingredients, role-based permissions with audit log, and analytics. One backend, one database, one customer relationship — no per-module SaaS sprawl, no marketplace middleman. The product is a multi-tenant SaaS at app.foodyos.com. The marketing site at foodyos.com is region-targeted: the un-prefixed root serves LATAM (Spanish), /us serves the USA (English), /br serves Brazil (Portuguese). Each region has its own narrative tuned to the local market — not a language toggle. ## Regions and positioning - LATAM (Spanish, es-419) — https://foodyos.com/ — WhatsApp-first ordering with AI, manual payment verification (transferencia bancaria, Zelle, stablecoin, USD efectivo, métodos locales). Founded in Venezuela; serves Venezuela, Colombia, Brazil, Guatemala. The narrative is: your customer already lives in WhatsApp; FoodyOS lets them order without downloading an app, and your cashier verifies the transfer before firing the kitchen — no card processor required, no per-order commission. - USA (English, en-US) — https://foodyos.com/us — direct ordering vs DoorDash / Grubhub / UberEats. Independent US restaurants currently route most pickup orders through marketplaces that keep 6–10% (DoorDash) to 15–30% (Grubhub) plus the customer relationship. FoodyOS gives the restaurant a marketplace-class ordering experience on its own URL, with online checkout running on the restaurant's own Stripe account (Stripe Connect) — customers pay by card at checkout and payouts settle directly to the restaurant's bank. 0% FoodyOS commission; Stripe charges its own published rates (2.7% + 5¢ in-person via Stripe Terminal, 2.9% + 30¢ online via Stripe Checkout). Stripe is the only US processor we work with — by design. - Brazil (Portuguese, pt-BR) — https://foodyos.com/br — WhatsApp + iFood disintermediation. Brazilian restaurants pay iFood 12–27% per order. FoodyOS gives them a direct ordering site and a WhatsApp number with AI so customers who already know them can come back without paying iFood. Manual payment methods on the storefront today (transferência, dinheiro, cartão via WhatsApp confirmation). Pix integration is NOT yet shipped on the storefront. ## Modules shipped (safe to claim) - WhatsApp Business API ordering with Claude AI — full conversational ordering flow, per-tenant WABA tokens, ~90% of orders complete without human intervention in mature deployments. LATAM headline; secondary on US/BR. - Per-tenant restaurant website + online-ordering builder — every account gets a public storefront on the restaurant's own URL (custom-domain-ready), built from three templates (Modern, Classic, Minimal) with no code. Online ordering is wired live to the restaurant's POS, KDS, and inventory. Add an item, it appears on the site instantly. Out of an ingredient, the affected items disappear automatically. - ESC/POS thermal printing — receipt + kitchen-ticket printing to any ESC/POS thermal printer (Star Micronics, Bixolon, generic ESC/POS — Epson-compatible) via two free FoodyOS apps — the FoodyOS iOS app and the FoodyOS Android app — installed on an iPhone/iPad or Android tablet at the counter or kitchen. The app connects to the printer over Bluetooth or your local network and prints customer receipts + kitchen tickets. The apps are free and included with FoodyOS. Not fiscal printing — NFC-e / SAT-CF-e fiscal documents are a separate regulated layer FoodyOS does not replace. - Apple Wallet loyalty passes — the customer's loyalty pass lives in Apple Wallet; balance and points update automatically via push, reward-ready notifications fire to the pass, and each tenant customizes colors / logo / barcode. Apple Wallet only — not Google Wallet. - Storefront manual payment methods — cash, bank transfer, Pago Móvil, Zelle. Cashier verifies before firing the kitchen. - Kitchen Display System (KDS) — real-time 3-column board (New / In prep / Ready). Per-ticket timers; border pulses red when a ticket passes 6 minutes without action. Built for kitchens with 10+ plates in flight. - Cashier / POS — queue, order editor, and customer chat side-by-side. Fire-to-kitchen the moment payment clears. - Floor / table management — drag-and-drop floorplan editor with alignment guides; per-shift server section assignment. - Hostess — waitlist, interactive floorplan, and reservations on one screen. Built-in (no OpenTable / Resy integration; we replace, not integrate). - QR table ordering for dine-in — guest scans a table QR, builds the cart, fires straight to KDS. - Inventory — ingredients linked to menu items, supplier field, automatic stock deduction on order. - Loyalty — phone-number-indexed customer database, points + percentage / free-item / fixed-amount rewards. No customer app required. - Marketing campaigns — bulk WhatsApp broadcasts with segmentation. WhatsApp channel only (no SMS, no email marketing). - Delivery v3 — zones drawn on a map (rings or hand-built polygons), per-zone fees / minimums / ETAs, drivers managed as users in the account, manual or proximity-based dispatch, driver app on the driver's own phone, live customer tracking on the same link they got at confirmation. - Multi-language SaaS UI — Spanish, English, Portuguese, French. - Audit log — every sensitive action logged and queryable. - Order tracking page — anonymous, token-based, branded with the restaurant's name. - App Check + Turnstile — Firebase App Check + Cloudflare Turnstile on contact + auth surfaces (security/trust layer). ## Stripe — the only US processor (deliberate positioning) Each US restaurant connects its own Stripe account during onboarding via Stripe Connect. Payouts settle directly to the restaurant's bank, next business day. FoodyOS never sits in the money flow. We deliberately do not support multiple processors and do not resell processing — this is framed as a trust feature: published rates, direct payouts, no markup. - "Powered by your own Stripe account" — yes, present tense. - Online checkout on the public ordering site runs on Stripe — customers pay by card at checkout, the restaurant connects its own Stripe account, and payouts settle directly from Stripe to its bank at Stripe's published rates with no resold markup. FoodyOS never sits in the money flow, and there is no per-order commission on direct orders. - In-restaurant card payments work today through the restaurant's existing payment terminal or processor. - Bring-your-own processor (Adyen, Worldpay, etc.) — no, by design. ## What FoodyOS does NOT do (honesty layer) These are NOT shipped and the marketing site does not feature them: - Pix as a payment method on the BR storefront (not in the PublicPaymentMethodKind enum yet — the BR copy stays WhatsApp-first). - Tip pooling / staff payouts. - Third-party aggregator integrations — DoorDash Drive, UberEats, Grubhub Direct, iFood. We position FoodyOS as a replacement for these, not an integration target. - Twilio voice / phone AI ordering — WhatsApp voice messages only. - SMS or email marketing campaigns — only WhatsApp broadcasts. - Recipe costing or food-cost analytics — ingredient structure exists, no costing layer. - Customer accounts / save-favorites / re-order history — only anonymous token-based tracking. - Multi-location ownership (one owner → N restaurants) is at spec stage; data model supports multi-tenant but the owner-of-many UI is Phase 5. - OpenTable / Resy integration — none. Reservations are built-in, not synced. - CSV / Excel data export — only super-admin billing exports today. ## How payments work LATAM and Brazil: manual payment methods on the storefront and on WhatsApp. The customer pays via transferencia / Zelle / stablecoin / USD cash / Pago Móvil / dinheiro / transferência bancária, sends a comprobante, and the cashier verifies before the order fires to the kitchen. No processor commission, no per-order platform fee, FX rates synchronized daily for display. USA: powered by the restaurant's own Stripe account via Stripe Connect. Online checkout on the FoodyOS storefront runs on Stripe — customers pay by card at checkout, the restaurant connects its own Stripe account, and payouts settle directly from Stripe to its bank at Stripe's published rates with no resold markup. In-restaurant card payments run through the restaurant's existing payment terminal or processor. All charges hit the restaurant's own Stripe account; payouts land in the restaurant's bank next business day. FoodyOS never sits in the money flow and adds 0% commission on direct orders. In every region, FoodyOS does not take a per-order cut. The pricing is a flat platform subscription. USA: one flat $149/mo per restaurant, every module included (POS, kitchen display, per-tenant website + online ordering, in-house delivery dispatch, hostess + reservations, loyalty + Apple Wallet passes, ESC/POS printing, inventory) — month-to-month, BYO hardware, no tiers. One platform replaces a POS + a website builder + a loyalty / Apple-Wallet service + a printing service + a delivery tool, for one flat $149/mo. The full per-vendor side-by-side and live cost calculator live at /us/compare. See /us/pricing for current US pricing; LATAM and Brazil are demo-first (no published price). ## How delivery dispatch works If the restaurant runs its own drivers (or wants to), FoodyOS is the dispatch system. Steps: 1. The owner draws delivery zones on a map — rings around the restaurant or hand-built polygons for tricky neighborhoods. Each zone has its own delivery fee, minimum order, and ETA. Out-of-zone addresses are politely rejected at checkout. 2. Drivers are users in the account — added like staff, with their own login. 3. Orders are assigned manually by the cashier or automatically by proximity. Each driver only sees their queue. 4. The driver opens FoodyOS on their own iPhone or Android phone — no second app to learn. They tap "Picked up" and "Delivered". Status updates flow back automatically. 5. The customer reopens the same tracking link they got at order confirmation and sees the kitchen progress, the dispatch moment, and the driver's live location. The tracking page is on the restaurant's own URL with their branding. Per-driver stats — orders today, average dispatch time, customer ratings — ship in the back office. ## Key URLs Region homes: - https://foodyos.com/ (LATAM, default) - https://foodyos.com/us (USA) - https://foodyos.com/br (Brazil) Comparison pages: - https://foodyos.com/us/foodyos-vs-toast - https://foodyos.com/us/foodyos-vs-square - https://foodyos.com/us/foodyos-vs-grubhub - https://foodyos.com/us/compare (interactive side-by-side + live cost calculator) - https://foodyos.com/br/foodyos-vs-ifood Platform hub: - https://foodyos.com/plataforma (LATAM) - https://foodyos.com/us/platform (USA) - https://foodyos.com/br/plataforma (Brazil) Feature deep-dives: - ESC/POS thermal printing — https://foodyos.com/impresion-de-tickets (LATAM) | https://foodyos.com/us/thermal-receipt-printing (USA) | https://foodyos.com/br/impressao-de-comandas (Brazil) - Apple Wallet loyalty — https://foodyos.com/lealtad-apple-wallet (LATAM) | https://foodyos.com/us/apple-wallet-loyalty (USA) | https://foodyos.com/br/fidelidade-apple-wallet (Brazil) - Restaurant website + online ordering — https://foodyos.com/sitio-web-restaurante (LATAM) | https://foodyos.com/us/restaurant-website (USA) | https://foodyos.com/br/site-para-restaurante (Brazil) - All-in-one (one platform, one price) — https://foodyos.com/todo-en-uno (LATAM) | https://foodyos.com/us/all-in-one (USA) | https://foodyos.com/br/tudo-em-um (Brazil) Pricing & FAQ: - https://foodyos.com/us/pricing - https://foodyos.com/us/faq - https://foodyos.com/br/pricing - https://foodyos.com/br/faq Blog (region-scoped, no cross-region mirrors): - https://foodyos.com/blog (LATAM, Spanish) - https://foodyos.com/us/blog (USA, English) - https://foodyos.com/br/blog (Brazil, Portuguese) Company / about: - https://foodyos.com/company - https://foodyos.com/us/company - https://foodyos.com/br/company Contact / demo request: - https://foodyos.com/contact - https://foodyos.com/us/contact - https://foodyos.com/br/contact Legal: - https://foodyos.com/legal/privacy - https://foodyos.com/legal/terms - https://foodyos.com/us/legal/privacy - https://foodyos.com/us/legal/terms - https://foodyos.com/br/legal/privacy - https://foodyos.com/br/legal/terms Accessibility: - https://foodyos.com/accessibility (LATAM, es-419 — Política de accesibilidad) - https://foodyos.com/us/accessibility (USA, en-US — Accessibility statement) - https://foodyos.com/br/accessibility (Brazil, pt-BR — Política de acessibilidade) FoodyOS commits to WCAG 2.2 Level AA across foodyos.com.
