All-in-one

One platform replaces your whole stack.

FoodyOS is one $149/mo platform that replaces the four-to-six separate vendors a US independent restaurant usually stitches together: in-house POS, kitchen display (KDS), your own online-ordering website, delivery dispatch, hostess and waitlist, loyalty with Apple Wallet passes, inventory, and ESC/POS thermal receipt printing — one bill, no per-order commission.

What “all-in-one” actually means here

Most independents don’t buy one product — they accrue a stack. A POS for the register, a website builder for the menu, a loyalty app, a kitchen-display subscription, a reservations tool, and a marketplace or two taking a cut of every order. Each one is its own login, its own invoice, and its own export format, and the customer data ends up scattered across all of them. FoodyOS collapses that into a single platform where the register, the kitchen screen, the ordering site, the loyalty pass, and the dispatch board all read from the same customer and menu data.

The vendors a single subscription stands in for

Representative separate tools an operator buys piecemeal, with each vendor’s published lower-tier monthly price (verified 2026-05-30). FoodyOS bundles the equivalent capability into the flat platform fee. Your exact stack varies; this is an illustrative comparison, not a quote.

That’s before the POS itself. The interactive side-by-side cost calculator at /us/compare prices the full vendor-by-vendor bundle (POS + processing included) against FoodyOS live, and is the single source of truth for the stack math on this site.

One bill: $149/mo, every module included

$149 /restaurant /month

Flat and month-to-month. POS, KDS, your online-ordering website, in-house delivery dispatch, hostess + reservations, loyalty with Apple Wallet passes, inventory, customer database, and ESC/POS thermal receipt + kitchen-ticket printing are all included — no tiers, no add-on creep, bring your own tablet. There is no separate Enterprise price; white-glove onboarding and a written SLA are a service on request, not a higher plan.

The point of one bill isn’t only the math — it’s that the modules are designed together. A returning customer’s Apple Wallet loyalty pass, their order history on the storefront, and the ticket the kitchen prints are the same record, not three integrations you maintain.

Print to the hardware you already own

FoodyOS prints receipts and kitchen tickets to any ESC/POS thermal printer — Star Micronics, Bixolon, Epson, and other generic ESC/POS models — through two free apps you install on a device at the counter or kitchen:

  • FoodyOS iOS appFree and included. An iPhone or iPad at the front-of-house connects to your ESC/POS printer over Bluetooth or your local network and prints tickets from FoodyOS.
  • FoodyOS Android appFree and included. Same pattern on an Android tablet — connects to your ESC/POS printer over Bluetooth or your local network.

Connect a printer in three steps

  1. Install the free FoodyOS app — iOS or Android — on a device at the counter or kitchen.
  2. In the app, pair your ESC/POS printer over Bluetooth or your local network and assign it to a station — receipts to the register, tickets to the line.
  3. Fire a test ticket. Once it prints, every confirmed order routes automatically to the right station.
Printing scope: this is ESC/POS thermal receipt and kitchen-ticket printing only — not inkjet, not laser, and not fiscal printing. FoodyOS does not issue government tax documents.

Loyalty that lives in Apple Wallet

Loyalty isn’t a separate app a customer has to download. A FoodyOS loyalty pass installs into Apple Wallet (Apple PassKit). Points and balance update automatically over the air via push, and you can send reward-ready push notifications when a customer is one visit from a free item. The pass is yours to customize — colors, logo, and barcode all reflect your brand.

Wallet scope: FoodyOS loyalty passes are Apple Wallet only. We do not currently ship a Google Wallet equivalent.

Your own ordering website, included

The all-in-one platform includes a per-tenant ordering website you actually own — three starting templates (modern, classic, minimal), full online ordering, and it’s custom-domain-ready so it can live at your own URL instead of a marketplace listing. It’s a real direct channel, not a profile page on someone else’s app.

Storefront payments:online checkout on your FoodyOS storefront runs on Stripe — customers pay by card at checkout, you connect your own Stripe account, and payouts settle directly from Stripe to your bank at Stripe’s published rates with no resold markup. FoodyOS never sits in the money flow, and there’s no per-order commission on direct orders. In-restaurant card payments also run through your existing terminal.

All-in-one FAQ

What does FoodyOS replace in my current stack?
One FoodyOS subscription covers your POS, kitchen display (KDS), your own online-ordering website, in-house delivery dispatch, hostess/waitlist, loyalty with Apple Wallet passes, inventory, and ESC/POS thermal receipt + kitchen-ticket printing. Most independents stitch those together from four to six separate vendors; FoodyOS folds them into one platform and one monthly bill. You keep your own payment processor and your accounting tool.
How much does FoodyOS cost?
A flat $149 per restaurant per month, month-to-month, with every module included — there are no tiers and no add-on creep. You bring your own iPad or Android tablet (no Toast-branded hardware to lease). Compare that to a typical pieced-together stack at /us/compare, which prices the vendor-by-vendor bundle live.
Do you charge a per-order commission like DoorDash or Grubhub?
No. Every direct order placed on your own FoodyOS ordering site or over WhatsApp is commission-free — the relationship and the data stay yours. The flat $149/mo is the only platform fee. If you still run DoorDash, Grubhub, or UberEats for discovery, those marketplaces keep charging their own commission on their own orders; FoodyOS exists to shift the mix toward direct.
Can I really run my whole front-of-house and kitchen on tablets I already own?
Yes. FoodyOS is software-first: POS, KDS, floor map, and hostess all run in a modern browser on iPads or Android tablets you already have. The only optional hardware is an ESC/POS thermal printer for receipts and kitchen tickets, which connects through the free FoodyOS iOS or Android app over Bluetooth or your local network.
What about payments — do you process them?
FoodyOS never sits in the money flow. Online checkout on your FoodyOS storefront runs on Stripe — customers pay by card at checkout, you connect your own Stripe account, and payouts settle directly from Stripe to your bank at Stripe's published rates with no resold markup. There's no per-order commission on direct orders. In-restaurant card payments also run through your existing terminal.
Is there a contract or setup fee?
Month-to-month, cancel any time, and your data — menus, customers, orders — is exportable whenever you want. White-glove onboarding and a dedicated point of contact are available as a service on request, not a more expensive tier.
